DuskClan's Main Hunting Grounds

Prey~Any kind of Oak Land bird.
Plenty of Squirrels.
Wood mice are all around.
Pine voles burrow in the moss on occasion.
Chipmunks are every where in the trees O-o

Chase away~ Raccoons-Make sure they don't bite you
Foxes-They are sly and fast-Be careful.
Buzzards-They carry sicknesses.

Find a patrol and Chase away~Badgers-Remember you badger training.
Rouges-They steal our prey. Chase them away
Unwanted or Hostile other clan cats-If they request to see the leader take them with caution.

OwlTalon flicks his tail and pads into the forest, sniffing the air for sign of prey.

GlacierPelt stalks a wood mouse. he pounces on it and kills it. he picked it up and walked tward the camp

GlacierPelt sniffed for prey

Ashstar slowly came up next to him, opening her muzzle slightly and sticking her nose in the air. She took in the scents around her slowly, trying to catch a scent of prey.

GlacierPelt flicked her lightly with his tail for her attention. He flicked his ear toward a rabbit nibbling on sweet grass. He stalked foward then gave chase.

She smiled, dashing into the trees and bushes until she had gone farther than Glacierpelt and the rabbit. Ashstar waited for the rabbit to come her way, then jumped out and in front of it, which would spook the rabbit to run the other way-towards Glacierpelt.

GlacierPelt grinned and snapped it neck. "Thanks!" He beamed

She smiles. "No problem-that was a nice catch." Ashstar nodded approvingly, whiskers twitching.

"Couldnt have caught it without you." He smiled

She laughed lightly, "We couldn't miss an oppurtunity like that, though." Ashstar returned the smile.

He smiled. "Im glad we have great hunters in the clan."

She nodded, "As do I." Ashstar raised her head to try and catch any other scents. She took a step away from the rabbit, so the smell of the rabbit wouldn't be all she could smell.

BlizzardPelt pads into the hunting grounds, seeing not very many signs of any prey. He crouches low to the ground, in case of anything that would happen to be coming along. While staying silent and still for quite a while, BlizzardPelt spies a shrew pacing toward a small hole near the bottom of a tree. I've got to act fast... He thinks to himself, as he slinks toward the shrew. Coming very close to the small, brownish-black creature, he pounces on the rodent and snaps its tiny neck. He closes his jaw around it and heads back toward the fresh kill pile, smiling a bit as he does.

Silverfur pads to the hunting grounds. She sees a squirrel, crouches down, and then... boom! Something large had pinned her down. Her vision went black, but once it was clear, she saw a baby fox. "Help, someone!" she mews. She struggles out of the pup's reach, and bounds onto him. The cat's sharp claws scratched the pup's nose, but the pup rose quickly and scraped Silverfur's left ear. She stumbles, but pulls herself back together. She then pounds onto the pup, claws unsheathed. She bites it's soft belly, ripping a lot of fur off. She pins the pup down on the neck, waiting for the pup to run out of breath. The pup struggles, but Silverfur's grip was too powerful for him. Soon, the pup dies. Once the pounding of his heart stopped, she knew that he was dead. She throws the pup on her back. Her bleeding ear twitched awkwardly, and Silverfur padded to the fresh-kill pile.

Glacier yawned and sniffed around

OwlTalon sniffs the air and glances around him self.

Sparrowflight padded onto the hunting grounds, her eyes shining hopefully and almost lustfully for the prey that would surely be nearby. She paused in wait for her hunting partner, who was an odd match considering her dislike for him.

The black tom limped up next to her and sat. He pulled a thorn from the pad of his paw. "Briar." He shrugged at her. "Ready?"

Sparrow nodded as she took up the usual hunting crouch. "Do you scent anything nearby?" Her eyes were alert and scanning the area. "Prey is always scarce this time of year." She sighed to herself. While hunting all of her emotion faded away, all but that continuous need to hunt. Even her dislike for the tom was forgotten here and for once she looked at him with eyes that didn't hint at the possibility that she hated him. She almost looked like she was..smiling?

"No. All the ground creatures will be in the ground by now along with the squirrels and chipmunks." He scented the air again. "Maybe we could find a bird? Or try our luck at the shallow part of the stream too. It has been sunny the last two sun rises." He smiled back at her if only sligthly

OOC:(Did they repost the DC stream?)

She nodded, he was a smart even if he was irritating at times. "Hmmm, wont that be cold tho?" She frowned slightly at the thought then shook it off. She had to be tougher than him. "I mean uh, lets go."

OOC:(a-are we becoming...f-friends? *shiny eyes* and uhhhhhh yup. Only its called the creek c: It has the same name it had on the old site.)

"We don't have to get in. The water thrushes should still be out." He smirked "I don't fancy a dip in any water cold or not more than the next cat." Pushednose scented the air once more to make sure not to scare any prey then said. "Race you?"

She frowned angrily knowing she had made a fool out of herself. "What are you, a kit?" She grumbled and stalked off towards the creek.

Pushednose tail lashed back and forth stiffly as he walked silently next to her.
