DuskClan Camp Clearing

He purred. "Im doing wondorful! How about you?"

"Me?" Applekit asked.

He nodded. "Yes you."

(Sorry, but who is he? Could you please use his name a little bit more?) "I'm fine. I just came out from battling two strong rouges! But they weren't powerful enough to defeat me!" Applekit purred.

Ashstar pads out of her den, a content smile resting on her muzzle. Her expression quickly turns to concern and confusion as she hears what Applekit had said. "What's this about rogues? And Applekit, what were you doing out of camp anyways?" her yellowy gaze goes from Applekit to Glacierpelt, waiting for an answer.

Apple kit bowed his head because he should not have been in a thicket of woods near the border. "I was there because, well, so when I got there, there were two rouges and a battled them and I taught the, not to trespass but they got away anyway..." Her voice trailed off.

"Applekit, it's far too dangerous to wander out of camp-period." she meowed sternly, heaving a sigh.

Apple kit looked at her paws. She mumbled something that would be hard to understand.

Ashstar closed her eyes momentarily, and when she opened them she asked, "The rouges, as you say, ran away... they ran back into their territory, correct?" her whiskers twitched nervously as she waited for an answer.

"What do you mean, back in their territory. They're definitely not in ours. if that's what you mean. But I don't think they have territory."

BlizzardPelt walks into the camp clearing, and seeing the cats talking, asks quietly, "What's going on..? Am I interrupting?" and looking a bit embarrassed, he looks at the ground and shuffles his paws a little.

She looks to Blizzardpelt, "It's alright, there was just a little problem..." turning back to Applekit, Ashstar nodded slowly. "Okay, good." pausing, Ashstar sighed in relief at the problem. Yes, Applekit did break a rule, but that was behind them now. "Applekit, just thank StarClan you didn't get injured by those rouges. But from now on, you absolutely must stay in camp unless there's an emergency." Ashstar concludes.

"Okay." She promised.

Ashstar nodded approvingly. "Alright. Just until you're an apprentice, then you can explore our territory all you want with your mentor." she smiled slightly.

"Um, I was just wondering, am I going to the gathering?"

She shook her head, "Only apprentices, warriors, and elders-if they want to- can go. But I have a feeling that you'll be an apprentice soon, so maybe the next gathering." Ashstar smiles, then looked up at the bright,full moon. The ball of light was almost to its highest point, meaning the gathering was going to start soon. "Alright, Blizzardpelt, Glacierpelt, and Owltalon. It is time to go to the gathering," calling out their names, Ashstar trots over to the exit/entrance to the camp.

Sparrowflight sat quietly in the clearing, watching the others go to the gathering sadly. "Maybe I can go to the next one." She muttered, bold determination returning to her.

"Umm should I go back to the nursery?" Apple kit called.

Ashstar looked back to Applekit, giving her a quick nod and a smile. Her gaze flew over to Sparrowflight, and she blinked slowly as she thought. "Sparrowflight!" Ashstar finally called, gesturing her over with a flick of her tail.

Sparrows eyes immediately began to glow with glee, and she quickly ran across the clearing to her leader.

She smiled, "Would you like to come with us? We have a small group, so we can take another." Ashstar patiently waited for an answer, though she was almost positive she already knew what Sparrowflight would say. ;3

"OHMYGOSH YES LETS GO NOW- I mean uh, yes. Yes I would love to."

Pushednose wandered up to the group just within earshot. He looked expectantly at Ashstar with asking eyes. The black tom made it clear he would like to go along too. He pawed at a flower while he waited for a response.

Sparrow looked over her shoulder at the tom with slanted eyes. That cat REALLY thought HE could come? Surely Ashstar wouldnt let HIM come.

Pushednose sensed Sparrowflight's glare but avoided meeting it but his stiffly flicking tail showed his discomfort. He quietly waited for his leader's yes or no, whatever it may be while decapitaing the flower
