StreamClan Camp Clearing

The camp clearing is surrounded by a tributary of StreamClan's river, the land is fairly small with very few trees, the river acting as most of the Clan's defense. This is the wettest part of the territory, the center being the only completely dry area.

Cloudgaze sat down, her tail curling protectively around Poisonedkit.

Poisonedkit reached out, batting at her mother's tail. She meowed loudly, gazing up at Cloudgaze with bright blue eyes.

Cloudgaze purred softly and nuzzled Poisonedkit. "Are you hungry?" She asked, looking down at her.

( Kittens are old enough to eat solid food at 2 months, right? Just making sure x3 )

"Yes!" Poisonedkit chirped, eyes brightening. She pawed at her mother's whiskers playfully.

(Yeah, I think so.)

"What would you like?" She asked, purring softly as she lead PoisonedKit over to the fresh kill pile.

"Umm. . . ." Poisonedkit's eyes narrowed as she pondered over the choices. "I want a rabbit! A big, fat one!"

(At first I read "... as she lead Poisonedkit over to the poisoned fresh kill pile.")

( Yeah, I wasn't sure if it would count as G modding, but it's hard to say that in any other way since mother cats usually lead kittens around :L )

"Alright." She chuckled, searching through the prey. After a moment she dragged out a fat rabbit, pretty much matching PoisonedKit's description.

"Yay!" Poisonedkit mewed, ears perked. She came over to the rabbit and took a big bite out of one of its ears, chewing noisily.

(Nah, it's not god modding. I mean, just because you're leading Poisonedkit technically doesn't mean that she has to follow. xD)

( Lol, okay then xD )

CloudGaze purred, grinning and took a bite out of the the rabbit's flank, chewing not so noisily.

Poisonedkit sniffed at the rabbit, taking another huge bite. She swished her tail and looked up at Cloudgaze. "Can we play? I want to play Moss Ball!"

(You said Glowingstar instead of Cloudgaze. XD You're Glowingstar on CreatureBreeder though, right?)

"Sure." She meowed, taking one last bite.

"Yay!" the tiny kit squeaked, jumping up and leaving the rabbit. "Where is the moss?"

"I'll have to get some." She meowed, padding over to a rock, scraping some off.

Redstar slunk out of his den, multi-colored thick pelt neat as ever. The tom's eyes were also-as usual- cold whirlpools of different blues. Once seeing the kit and its mother, he nodded to them briefly and curtly, tail swishing lazily behind him like a cat-tail in the breeze beside the riverbank. Gazing up to the clear sky, Redstar silently thanked StarClan for the great, warm weather and soft breeze that ruffled the tom's fur and also kept him from becoming too hot in his long, very dense pelt.

CloudGaze hadn't noticed RedStar and she continued to claw moss off of the rock. After a moment she squashed it up and tossed it to PoisonedKit.

Seeing the newly-formed moss ball, Poisonedkit leapt eagerly into the air, swiping at it with a paw. She brought it down and passed it back to Cloudgaze, then turned to Redstar with a small grin on her face. "Hi Redstar!" Poisonedkit mewed, twitching her whiskers happily. She looked back at her mother, still ready to play.

CloudGaze also turned her head, blinking at RedStar. "Hello." She meowed, turning back to PoisonedKit. She batted it over to her again and chuckled softly.

Redstar looked once again at the kit and mother. Sadness lurked in his strange eyes, but he quickly covered it with a bored expression. Maybe he should go on a patrol to clear his mind. But who to take?

Poisonedkit batted back the moss ball over-enthusiastically, meowing softly: "Mom, can Redstar play moss ball too?"

CloudGaze shrugged, batting it back again and sitting down. "Only If he wants to."

PoppyLight walked into the clearing and set a plump squirrel on the fresh-kill pile. "Pheww... that was a tough one!" She sits next to a tree and watches the kits and Redstar play together.

Redstar overheard the kit and mother and stopped abruptly, thinking over the ways to reject. "No. I'm going on a patrol soon. I apologize, Poisonedkit. Maybe later." He sure hoped the little scrap would forget. He rather hated such stupid, childish games. Plus, the leader had work to do. There was little time for play.

CloudGaze nodded, but her eyes were narrowed. She turned back to PoisonedKit. "Don't worry about it, RedStar's busy at the moment."

"Oh, okay," meowed Poisonkit. Her eyes glinted with disappointment just for a moment before another hopeful spark set them alight again. "What about a patrol? Can I go patrolling?"
