StreamClan Camp Clearing

The camp clearing is surrounded by a tributary of StreamClan's river, the land is fairly small with very few trees, the river acting as most of the Clan's defense. This is the wettest part of the territory, the center being the only completely dry area.

"Oh!" said Poisonedkit, turning to look for Cloudgaze. Seeing her mother, the small kit padded over to her.

CloudGaze nuzzled her kit, a smile spreading across her muzzle. "What have you been up to?"

Deerkit's murky orange eyes flashed as she spotted her sister. "Salix?" a knowing look crossed her face when she saw her sister gazing at the entrance, then she glanced down at the ball of moss that Salixkit was playing with. She picked up the moss, then drop-swatted it with her tail to Salixkit.

Salixkit grinned and sent it flying back to her sister, and she crouched so she could hit the ball at a better angle when it came to her.

IceStone watches the kits from a distance with amusement. She turns letting her eyes rest on a bug crawling across a leaf by her paw wondering what her brothers were up to.

Poisonedkit turned away from Cloudgaze, looking to the camp entrance. Her toe-tips tingled with curiousity, and she leaned forward from her sitting position. "I want to go hunting.." the she-kit said softly, looking up at the older kits.

OOC: Twisted, how old would Poisonedkit be now?

Redstar's paws and head popped out of his den, followed by the rest of his dark crimson red body. Glancing over at the kits playing in the clearing, he sighed quietly to himself and pondered on his thoughts. Hmmm... Fledglingkit and Magpiekit seem fit for ceremonies just about soon... His paws were clouded with snow, for he dug them underneath it. He somewhat liked the snow fairly. Thinking a bit more, he stood from his position and made his way to the highrock.

Cloverpaw bounded into the clearing and drank in the sweet air happily as he looked over his shoulder to see if his mentor was coming. "Burntglare? May I take something from the freshkill pile?" he asked just to make sure.

The dark tabby followed Cloverpaw more slowly, taking his time as he pushed his way into the camp clearing. While Burntglare missed his LightningClan home and was in no hurry to forget it, it was nice to have family here, and he was beginning to love StreamClan almost as much. "Of course you can, Cloverpaw," he said, offering a swift nod to the apprentice. He was a bit surprised by Cloverpaw's politeness, but the only feature of him that portrayed this was a brief narrowing of his eyes. Burntglare padded over beside Cloverpaw, pawing a small bird towards himself and feeling his mouth water; he hadn't realised how hungry he was until now.

Poppylight bounded in after them and flicked her tail. She glanced around the camp and sat underneath a thick sheet of shade. She looked very bored, eyes drooping somewhat. But no- she wasn't sleepy. She looked around lazily and licked a paw daintily. I could really use something to do... perhaps I could fill the dens with more moss. Anything to get this boredom out of my head. She surveyed the camp for any warriors to do something with, then noticed Redstar making his way to the Highrock. Hmmm... a ceremony?

Cloverpaw bounded over to Poppylight. "You look bored." he meowed as he tilted his head. "Are you?" he mewed. "What are you looking at, anyway?" he tried to follow her gaze.

She looked at the apprentice and looked away. "Looking for something to do. And yes, I am bored. Very.""I don't suppose you have anything to do?" I'm asking something to do from an apprentice! I must be really bored.

He shrugged. "Idunno." His words were morphed together. "I'm bored, too." Cloverpaw was bored, but he would still rather be bored than get moss for elders. I've sat with his tail curled around his paws. "Are there just normal camp stuff to do? Like-like hunting? But I still dongle know how to do that. How about... Idunno." Cloverpaw shrugged again.

She suddenly thought. "Hmm..." She looked at him and smiled, her eyes glinting. "How would you like to go somewhere with me? It'll be fun." She smiled down at Cloverpaw, the thought bouncing in her mind. She squinted because a shard of sunlight was flashing in her eye.

Burntglare yawned, watching Poppytail and Cloverpaw from a few fox-lengths away. He was tired: not being as young as he used to be, he was worn out a lot more easier and quickly. He padded slowly over to the two other cats, giving a small nod and licking his chest fur subtly. "What're we talking about? Is it okay if I join in?"

Cloverpaw jumped to his paws. "Absolutely!" He yowled. "Where? Are we going to Duskclan to do some spying?! What about catching some fish?" Cloverpaw had never been out of the camp before. He was exited to explore the territory and venture out in the woods.
Then he turned around. "Oh! Hey, Burntglare! Poppylight's taking me to spy on Duskclan!" Obviously, he forgot about how tired he was. The young Tom felt as energetic as ever!

Burntglare laughed softly, sitting down with his ears perked forward. "Cloverpaw, I doubt you'll be able to catch a mouse now, let alone a fish! Or has some other cat been teaching you behind my back?" He smiled warmly, giving Cloverpaw's ear a gentle cuff.

It's fine, Burntglare." Poppylight smiled and laughed slightly, watching as Cloverpaw jumps around. "Actually, I was just taking him outside the border to do some scent-marking." "Is that fine with you? You can join along if you want." She smile at Cloverpaw and flicked an ear. "I think he's gotten all the energy for it."

Burntglare nodded, flicking an ear. "Yeah, that's fine. I don't think you've gone on any real border patrol yet, have you, Cloverpaw?" he asked, turning shortly to the apprentice before looking back at Poppylight. "It'll be good for him. I'll stay here . . . I'm not nearly as energetic." He gave a lopsided grin.

Cloverpaw stopped and thought. "Huh! I haven't gone on a border patrol yet. Never! I'm excited to do it!" He meowed happily and eagerly. "Where are we doing it?" He tilted his head to the left curiously.

Poppylight giggled at Burntglare's humor and thought at Cloverpaw's humor. " Hmm... The Hunting Grounds would be great. They've got plenty of trees, and the border line is there. It's a perfect spot." She stood and stretched out her back legs. "Coming, Cloverpaw?"

"You bet your front paws I am!" he mewed joyfully. CLloverpaw glanced at a speckled leaf on the ground then quickly brought his gaze up again. "Let's go! Oh- " he felt his tummy rumble with hunger. "Do you mind if I get something from the freshkill pile first? I haven't eaten since the training session." he asked.

"Sure thing, Clover. Take your time." She stood at the edge of the entrance, eyes closed. She was half asleep, half awake. Her tail was curled around her paws and she looked like a statue with their eyes closed, standing so still and peacefully. Even her chest was still, and you couldn't even see her breathing. But of course, she was.

"Thanks!" and he bounded off towards the fresh kill pile. Cloverpaw had never felt so content in his life. His first day of training, going on a patrol later, and a nice juicy piece from the fresh kill pile.
