in a thicket of woods near the border...

applekit wanders into the clearing out of the nursery bored. and crosses to a thickey of woods when nocat is looking. she sighs and starts grooming herself but not very well.

Two rouges, not much older then Applekit but surely not apprentices, a tom and a She cat, wander past the little kit grooming herself poorly. They see her and stands close, a twig accidently snapping underneath the she-cat's paws. "Shhh!" Her slightly older brother scolds.

applekit jumped to her paws and leaped onto one of the rouges helplessly. "INTRUDER! TRESPASSER! BAD CAT!" She screamed in a high pitched voice. but her headache made her jump off to rub the sharp pain in her head.

The Rouge she jumped on, the tom, screeched and stepped behind the border. He gripped her scruff with his jaws and pulled her off him, wondering where to put her. He placed her on the other side and backed away. "Snow, let's go! This is clan territory!"

"Somebody help! There are trespassers that will kill us all!" And she leaped on top of the male rouge and scratched down his back with weak claws. Surely it wouldn't hurt the cat too much, but it was the only claws she had.

He struggled to get her off of him, but he was not over the border, far from it. "Get off my brother!!!" The she cat screamed. She pulled the kit off by the scruff and tossed her back over the border. The tom glared back at the small streaks along his back and growled. She stepped in front of him and turned away. "Let's get out of here, Ripple." They began walking away from the border together.

Applekit limped off the ground shouting, "STOP THEM! STOP THEM!" she didn't attack them again though, for they were stronger and she was outnumbered.

The she cat scoffed and they dissapeared behind a tree.
(That's it then...? :P)

GlacierPelt rushed over and snarled at the rouges. "How dare you attack a kit." He grabbed Applekit by the scruff and dropped her beside him

"But, they got away!" Applekit stammered.

He licked Applekit's fur violently. "And im telling Ashstar."

(OMG Track them down!!! Ps. They were out of the border line not in it. xD)

GlacierPelt sniffed. "Who ever's there, come out now."

(They already left...)

(I know they are in a small clearing being attacked by pine, a furousious one.)

"Okay AppleKit. Lets go back to camp and tell Ashstar. Maybe she can send a patrol out. I dont know why your doing out here by yourself."

"I just wanted to explore the woods... " she mumbled quietly almost to herself.

He purred at the kit and licked her lovingly

Silver pads in, her fur shimmers in the moonlight, making her appear to be just a mist.

Ashstar trotted swiftly through, brushing up against trees and bushes as she went past them. Letting out a contented sigh, she smiled up at the stars that sprinkled across the night sky. When she got close to the end of the border, her yellow eyes glowed as she turned around and headed back towards camp.

She watched her, eyes watching her swift movements, 'That must be a clan cat!' she thought, 'My fur and strange scent are the only things protecting me!' Her scent smelled more like a rabbit than a cat due to her odd habit of using rabbit pelts as bedding.

After only taking several steps back towards camp, she froze. Ashstar stuck her nose into the air, catching the fresh scent of rabbit -- very strong, actually. She took this as a positive thing, though, because maybe she could bring a rabbit back. Crouching low, she began to pinpoint where the scent came from. Though no small animal was in sight, which confused her. How could it smell so clearly of rabbit, yet there were none to be found? She thought, still scouring the area for the rabbit that let off a recent scent that lingered in the air.
