- Catgroubs:
Forest Hunters: Those cats are small and good in sneaking. They hunt mice, birds and squirrels on the ground and other small animals in the forest.
Tree Climbers: Those cats are often smaller and have long and strong claws. They climp up Trees and catch birds or squirrels there.
Meadow Runners: Those cats are swift and fast. They catch rabbits in groups or alone on a meadow. Sometimes they even get to catch a buzzard or hawk.
Fisher Cats: Every cat learns the basics of swimming, but those cats can swim the best. They mostly have strong legs. They catch fishes in water.
Tunneler Cats: Every cat learns the basics of tunneling, but those cats are the only ones who really use tunneling. They tunnel tunnels to any various places just if they need it one they. They also tunneled a whole underground camp with dens and everything. They use it to hide in if the camp gets attacked or if the winter is too cold to life outside. They sometimes even catch moles or bunnys underground.
Wise Cats: Cats which can't learn hunting and/or fighting for some reason like blindness, losing or dead legs or any other reason often gets Wise Cats or Healing Cats. But also other cats can be wise or healing cats. Wise cats organize everything like hunting patrols and plans if they attack someone.
Healing Cats: Cats which can't learn hunting and/or fighting for some reason like blindness, losing or dead legs or any other reason often gets Wise Cats or Healing Cats. Healing cats learn how to heal and stuff. That's pretty much all.
She-Cats: She-cats don't have groups. They don't learn hunting or fighting. They nurse, feet and take care of the kits. They also take care of the dens and build nests for the cats. If a she-cat can't get kits for some reason, the most toms will disrespect her and she barely can ever get a mate.
- Part1:
"King?" A soft voice came to King's ears. "Mother? A-Aren't you supposed to be dead...?" He heard a sweet purring even though he didn't saw his mom, he knew it was her. "You're dreaming sweety. I came to tell you something." King looked around, trying to find his mom. "What is it...?", he asked while looking around. Suddenly he felt his paw getting wet. He stepped into a puddle. "Look down sweety. What do you see?" King looked down. As he expected he saw a golden-yellow cat with dark red eyes. It was his reflexion. "Never forget who you are, King. You are very special." "But why?", he asked, "I'm just a normal kitty-pet!" He heard a hissing. "Don't say that boy! Kitty-pet's aren't less worthy than wild cat's! Never forget that." King sighed. He never wanted to be a kitty-pet. He always wanted to be wild. To hunt and fight for his food. To live without humans who tell him when he can go outside and not. But his mother always told him that he should be happy living save in a human's home. "Why are you even telling me that, mom?", he asked puzzled. "I'm telling you that because a big changing in your life is going to come. I just want you to remember who you are. Who I am. Please..."
- Part 2:
Suddenly King heard voices. He couldn't understand what they were saying though. "Oh no... they're already there." King didn't understand. "Who? Who is there, Mother?" He heard his mother sighing. "Nobody, sweety. You have to wake up now." "No! No I don't want to wake up yet!" But it was too late. The dream was fading away... "Is it really him?" He heared the voices clearer now. "Yes I assure you!" "But he's just a kitty-pet!" They seemed to be right next to him. Suddenly King opened his eyes and hissed. "Who are you!? What are you doing here?" Three cats where gathered next to him. A big redish brown one with amber eyes, a grayish blue with blue eyes and a tortoiseshell. All three where toms and looked pretty strong. Though the tortoise one seemed to be blind because instead of eyes he only had two holes on his face. "Go on Mouse. Tell him.", the blue tom said and looked serious to the tortoiseshell cat. His name seemed to be Mouse. "Y-Yes Sky.", Mouse stuttered and looked up to King, "Y-You've been chosen to jo-join our pack, King the kitty-pet." King's backgur ruffled. But he kept calm. "No thanks.", he said with a hint of anger. "N-No thanks!?", Mouse repeated shocked. "No thanks!?", Sky, the blueish cat repeated again, "I think you don't understand! The Leader has chosen you to join our pack! You should be honored, you unworthy kitty-pet!" Now King started hissing. "And what makes you think I want to join a pack of cats who call me unworthy?" Sky just looked at him. He didn't even seemed to answer him. "Well whatever." He nodded to the red cat. "Get him Brick.", Sky said to the red tom and pushed King down. When King collapsed on his paws Brick grabbed him at his tail and started to carry him out. "Are you sure that's the right cat? He's weak." "Oh shut up you sun of a dog!", King hissed to Brick. How dare he call him weak? He was the strongest of all kitty-pets! "He's a natural fighter, the Leader says.", answered Sky, ignoring King. "Well you're the wise one..", Brick murmed and continued carrying King. They seemed to be heading to a deep forest no cat dared to enter.
- Part 3:
"So where are you carrying me to?", King asked after a while. Trying to escape seemed to be useless. So he tried to deal with the situation instead. "Our camp.", Brick said. King rolled his eyes. "And where is that camp supposed to be?" "In a hidden spot of this forest.", Sky said, "Now shut up and let us go on." "I told nobody to stop or so so I never stopped you going on.", King murmured. Sky just hissed. After a while the three cats with King stopped in front of a bush. "Th-This is it...", Mouse murmured and dissapeared in the bushes. Sky followed him and after him Brick with King. Behind the bushes was a large camp with dens build out of sticks, leafs and moss. In the middle was a hill made out of many smaller and bigger stones and next to it a pile with prey. Cats were walking around everywhere. Somehow they all seemed to be toms. Suddenly a tabby tom was walking to the four cats. "This is the Leader.", Sky explained, "Behave yourself when you speak to him." "Is this the chosen one?", the tabby said. He didn't sounded serious or angry or strong as King expected. More excited and friendly. "It is the new one, yes.", Sky said. "Follow me King.", the Leader purred and ran to the stone hill. Somehow everybody seemed to know King's name. He followed the tabby Leader which jumped on the top on the hill. "You stay down there.", he said and looked through all his cats. "Cat's of my pack!", he called, "I have here King, the new one, who was chosen by me to train as a warrior!" Calls of approval were heard and the Leader started to purr louder. "Brick, since you're one of my strongest warriors and I want King to get strong too, I chose you to be his teacher." "What!?", Brick and King said at the same time. They both where surprised by their similiar reaction. So was the Leader. "Don't you like my decition King?", he sounded worried. "Don't I-- Are you cats all retarded!? First you send your little servants to tell me 'I've been chosen' for something I don't care at all about, then they bring me here even without me wanting it and now you want to give me that cocky son of a whatever to be my teacher!? He propably is even more stupid as a mouse!" King's fur was fluffying and his claws was sheathed out. He was about to claw that cat's ears off of rage. What where they all thinking? "Cocky? Stupid?", Brick repeated, "I show you who's stupid!" He was about to jump on King, but the Leader stopped him. "No, he's right.", he murmured. "What!?", Brick didn't believed his Leader really agreed with King. King didn't believed it either. He tried to hide a laugh but failed. "Don't you laugh at me!", Brick hissed angry. The Leader purred. "No he's really right. I don't want to sound rude, Brick, but you're not the cleverest cat in our pack. And King seemes to need a smart teacher. Raven will take your place then." A big, black cat appeared from the shadows. His green eyes shined in the soft light. "Greetings kitty-pet.", he said with a serious and wise voice, which almost sounded as if he knew everything. "I'm honored to mentor you, kitty-pet." King could hear, that he didn't meant it at all. But Raven seemed to be really wise. He kinda respected him already and felt like he had to earn his respect too. "So since this is chosen you can all return to what you were doing.", the Leader said and jumped off the hill, "Raven you'll start King's training tomorrow. For now it's time to go sleep." King suddenly relized, that Brick, Sky and Mouse where carrying him almost the whole day. It was night by now and all the cats disappeared into several dens. Great, King thought, do they expect me to know what to do now or what?
- Part 4:
"Hey kid!" A redish brown tom with dark brown paws ran right to King. "I like how you talked to Brick. Nowbody would have dared calling him stupid and cocky." "Well I couldn't have known that so it's nothing special I think.", King murmured. He studied the red tom closer. He was about his age. About 10 months. "We're going to train together!", the tom purred, "I'm going to show you the whole territory." "Well you can start right now. Where's the way back home!?", King hissed annoyed. Why did all those cat think it would be soo normal for him to live in this pack now? "Way back home? You life in the pack now, dummy, you are at home." King sighed. "Yeah..." It was no use trying to talk to those cats. "Soo where are all the she-cats?", King asked, "I saw so many cats but only toms..." "The she cats? They're in the nursery ofcourse, nursing the newborns." "All of them?", King wondered. "Sure...", the red cat murmured, "That's they're job... getting and nursering kits, that's what she-cats there for." "Well whatever.", King murmured. "We should go sleep now. Follow me I'll show you the apprentice's den.", the tom meowed and walked ahead, "I'm Mud by the way." "King. But you propably already knew that."
