Forgotten Purrs
The time of ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and even the Tribe of the Rushing Water have long passed. The old heroes are just legends now, and the Ancient Clans, tales of LionClan, TigerClan and LeopardClan are scarcely remembered. Tales of Clans and Tribes spread from forest to forest, Twolegplace to Twolegplace, and although the rumors quickly spread, the warrior code, the purpose of Tribes and Clans remained the same. Thus, the first leaders came together: Magpiestar, Sunstar, Hollowstar and Mothstar. Although their beliefs and loyalties were divided, they each were strong and proud and knew their destinies: to rule the forest together, to respect one another, and to sacrifice everything for their friends. Now, those leaders, too, have passed, and it's your time to step up an aid in the rebirth of the forest.

Snow Wanders Empty
PostSubject: Snow Wanders   Snow Wanders EmptyThu Aug 22, 2013 8:36 pm

Snow wandered a clearing slowly. She looked around and huffed, unsatisfied of the emptiness and sat down right below a ray of sunshine. Last night was a cold one, so she was determined on getting heated up just before she starts traveling again. She curled her tail around her body so they touched her paws and watched thrushes fly in and out of trees. She had thought about catching one to eat, but then realized she wasn't hungry at all, just bored.

"Just thinks she can run off like that, does she!" Osprey snorted, sinking his claws into the ground angrily. "I'll get her, I will. You can believe that I will." He lashed his tail, lost in his not-so-mental mutterings. He hadn't eaten in a day or so, so consumed was he by anger. Osprey raised his head, realizing that the growls in his stomach meant that he was hungry. He twisted his ears, picking out the sound of birds some distance away. He slunk through the bushes, trying not to disturb the thrushes, but not being as careful as he could be. He came out of the undergrowth into a clearing. Looking around his new surroundings, Osprey saw a mostly-white cat sitting in the clearing. He flattened his ears, hackles raising instinctively, and spoke in a rough voice. "What are you doing here?"

Snow looked at him and shot up, flattened her ears against her head and raised her hackles in a defensive way. "Sitting, why?" She asked him with wide eyes. Sure her reaction wasn't as calm like always, but one can never be too careful. She stared at him and let out deep huffs so he knew her guard wasn't down.

He snorted, unsure at first how to respond. "Why? I'll, I'll tell you why!" Osprey looked down at his paws, realizing his claws were unsheathed and mercilessly squeezing the thin soil. "Because...because I was curious, that's why!" He took a shaky breath, trying to get his temper under control and resume a mask of indifference. "It's not every day someone sees a c-cat as pretty as you." At face value, the words were a bit...odd, but Osprey's tone was forced and almost painful-sounding. He hadn't practiced deception in a while.

Snow narrowed her eyes in curious way. She didn't flatten her hackles, but instead took a small step back. She couldn't find the words to say. Instead she scowled in confusion. "Uhm.... thank you? Who are you anyways?" She asked him with her claws unsheathed and tension high. She didn't want to alert him, for she can hear the pain in the tom's voice.

Osprey cleared his throat, regaining a calm appearance. "You're welcome." He sheathed his claws again and flattened his hackles, wearing a fake smile like a worn-out queen with too many kits. "My name is Osprey. I've been wandering these forests for a while." His tone grew rougher as he remembered why he was wandering these forests, but he flattened it into a near monotone by the end of the sentence.
