In the Forest

Pebble yawned as the sunlight streamed through the pine needle roofing of her den. "Morning already?" She whispered to herself before stretching and padding over to her stock of herbs. She sorted through them quickly, tossing anything that looked rotten and carried them away to be buried behind her den. She then sat in front of her den and waited for sokmething interesting to happen.

Harsh walked by and watched the she-cat from the top of a a hill. He oohed at the sight of the Pebble and hastily took a step forward, mesmerized at her beauty. He hadn't watched where he was going, then took a quick step forward. He lost footing and his back feet slipped from behind him, making him clumsily tumble down the hill. He yowled and bounced off it, hitting the ground with a THUMP. He landed a few foxlengths away from Pebble.

Pebble whipped around to see the tom standing behind her. She scanned him for a minte and decided he was no threat. "Hi, I'm Pebble," she mewed quietly and shyly. She had never ever encountered another cat while she was near her den. Not once. She sniffed the air catching a bit of the tom's scent to remember it.

Harsh stood dazed for a moment before returned to his senses. He cleared his throat to appear manly. "I'm H-Harsh." He said. When he realized he had stuttered from pressure, he cursed under his breath.

Pebble smiled on the inside. "That fall looked pretty dangerous, are you okay?" Pebble asked. She sorted through remedies and herbs inside her head. She looked back over at Harsh who had seemed dazed.

Harsh looked at her. "Well.... I just got a bump to the head.... but other then that, I'm fine." He studied her. Inside his mind, small voices muttered. Ask her out, Harsh! Look at her, she's waiting for it! A male voice said eagerly. Don't listen to Breeze, Harsh! He's just rushing into things! If you wanna know how to handle a she cat, ask a she cat for advice. That's why you have me! A female voice replied.

Pebble padded over to Harsh and look at the bump on his head. "That could get bad. Come in my den, I can see if I have anything for that," Pebble mewed to him before turning around and walking into her den. She quickly went over to her stock towards the back and pulled out a rare looking leaf and a large seed.

Ariella stepped forth out of the undergrowth, tracking the scent of other cats. Her golden pelt shown bright and her amber eyes twinkled. "Hello there." She looked at Harsh and Pebble then grinned. "Oh... Sorry if I was interrupting something." She purred.
