Forgotten Purrs
The time of ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and even the Tribe of the Rushing Water have long passed. The old heroes are just legends now, and the Ancient Clans, tales of LionClan, TigerClan and LeopardClan are scarcely remembered. Tales of Clans and Tribes spread from forest to forest, Twolegplace to Twolegplace, and although the rumors quickly spread, the warrior code, the purpose of Tribes and Clans remained the same. Thus, the first leaders came together: Magpiestar, Sunstar, Hollowstar and Mothstar. Although their beliefs and loyalties were divided, they each were strong and proud and knew their destinies: to rule the forest together, to respect one another, and to sacrifice everything for their friends. Now, those leaders, too, have passed, and it's your time to step up an aid in the rebirth of the forest.

WELCOME to the forum! :D Now I know the last thing anyone wants to do as soon as they join is read the rules, but you really should, or else you could miss something. If you have any questions concerning the rules, feel free to ask anyone on the forum. We will always be willing to help you with anything you have trouble understanding. :)
There are only twelve rules, even if it looks like more. PLEASE read all of them. I cannot stress how important it is that you do so.

Rules of Forgotten Purrs

  1. Pay for your characters accordingly.
There is a topic further detailing the price for characters. The default price is 500 points, but you can create one free character when you join the site. After reading the rules, make sure you check out the Points Donation Topic (found in Announcements) so that you may create your first character.

  2. Do not roleplay until your character has been approved.
When your character is approved, an administrator will post and lock its template. If you need to make a few edits, they will post on your template pointing out which changes you should make.

  3. Never control another person's character without their permission.
This is called 'god-modding' or 'power-play' and is strictly forbidden. Roleplay only in third person, and never write about what another person's character does. Kidnapping, killing or severely injuring another person's character should only be done with that person's express permission.

  4. No more than one account per person.
While the fastest way to gain multiple characters is to create multiple accounts, please limit yourself to one. This is a ban-able offense, as multiple accounts can be abused in so many ways.

  5. Profanity will not be tolerated.
Use cat terms such as "mouse-brain" or "foxdung" in roleplay. Shortened or abbreviated versions of swears are allowed (i.e., "FML," "WTF"), as well as words like "freaking" or "sexy," but do not use asterisks or other replacements to stand in the place of swears. Try not to use these terms too often though, as there are some younger people on this site.

  6. Pornographic/sexual content is forbidden.
There is no age minimum here, meaning not everyone here is as old as you are. We are especially strict about any sexual content you may post. If you aren't sure whether or not something would be considered 'sexual,' please private message an administrator or moderator and we'll tell you whether or not you may post it.

  7. Respect other people.
This should go without saying. Racism, bullying, etc. are strictly forbidden, and try to avoid fights in general. A harmless debate between a few members is fine, but if things start to get out of hand please inform a moderator and they will put a stop to it as soon as possible.

  8. Read the rules in their entirety.
Reading the rules is inconvenient and boring, but it is an important part of participating in a functioning forum. So that we know you've read the rules completely, when you go to post in the Points Donation Topic, please include one of the following words in a sentence: eyelash, trumpet, biscuit, kitchen, volume, tea, opera.

  9. Do not advertise your own website or forum.
Linking to external websites is allowed as long as you are not advertising. For example, saying "Please join my website! <3" is advertising, but including a link to your website in your signature is not.

  10. Do not ask to become a staff member.
Not just anyone can become a staff member. I need to know that you're a dedicated user who will not just suddenly vanish from this site. We don't really need that many staff members unless this site gets really big or people start breaking lots of rules.

  11. Do not reveal personal information.
Gender, e-mail address, region, etc. are fine, but never give away your phone number, zip code, city, etc. to people on the Internet, or at least not people on here. If you are asked by anyone to reveal personal information like this, please report it to an administrator immediately.

  12. Do not double post.
Double posting is replying to one topic twice in a row before twenty-four hours have passed. This is forbidden as members may abuse it in order to gain more points to pay for their characters. In certain forums, such as the Character Records forum, this is allowed, however it is never allowed in any roleplaying forums.
