11/15/2012 Update

Announcement - effective immediately, no new StreamClan cats can be created. StreamClan right now is a lot larger than the other Clans and it's important that they all have an approximately even number of members. DuskClan is also one of the larger Clans, so if you already have one or more DuskClan cats, you cannot create another. Already-approved characters and character templates submitted before 7:22 today (November 15, 2012) will not be affected.
To sum up:

• StreamClan cats CANNOT be created.
  
• DuskClan cats MAY be created if you do not already have one.
  
• The creation of LightningClan cats is encouraged.
  
• The creation of BoulderClan cats is encouraged.
  
• The creation of non-Clan cats is encouraged.

StreamClan cats posted in the Roleplayers Needed forum CAN BE ADOPTED, but new StreamClan cats CANNOT BE CREATED, not even if they are just to put up for adoption.
When each Clan has at least 10 members, which is StreamClan's current character count, this ban will be lifted.

It has been almost two weeks since we have moved. This has given everyone plenty of time to rejoin and create their characters. Previously leader/deputy/medicine cat spots were reserved for those who had them on the last site, but I have decided to lift this. BoulderClan is the only leader position open. If you already have a leader OR deputy character, you may not apply for BoulderClan's leader. If you are interested in the position, please post here. When five or more people have said they are interested, the staff will discuss who they think would be the best person for the job. Leaders have a surprising amount of responsibility and it is important that they cannot just disappear from the site without warning (unless, of course, there has been a family disaster or other personal problem). ALL Clans need deputies, but remember that it is the leader's decision for whether or not someone can become a deputy. ALL Clans need medicine cats. Remember, if you have a leader or deputy character, you may not create another, but you may have a medicine cat character. Starting now, medicine cats do not count as notable characters (NC's). While they have a very important place in their Clans, there simply aren't enough prophecies or battles for them to be as important as the medicine cats were in the books.

Remember everyone, the next gathering is on Friday, December 28th, and the next half-moon gathering (medicine cats only) is scheduled for Friday, December 14th.
