Spectrum's Den

First topic message reminder :

Spectrum stopped when they got to a bunch of roots in front of a small hill. "We're here. Well, almost."

He smiled, resting his chin on his paws. Curling up tightly, Boots closed his dark blue eyes. "G'night, Spectrum." yawning, he slowly fell asleep.

"Good night, Boots." She wrapped her tail over her nose and closed her eyes.

(I guess it's morning, now. :P)

Boots opened his eyes, blinking the sleep away. He looked around, his heart starting to race-where was he? When his gaze reached Spectrum, he relaxed and laughed under his breath. He remembered now. Sitting up, Boots groomed himself quietly.

Spectrum opened her eyes.slightly, and yawning, sat up. She stretched and locked a paw, drawing it over her whiskers. "G'morning."

He looked up, "Good morning to you too." Boots stretched out his front legs, then brought himself back into a sitting position.

"Have a nice sleep?" She stretched again, whiskers.quivering.

He nodded. "I did. What about you?" Boots flicked an ear.

"Good." She sat up and shook her fur out. "Hm... It was alright. Just a bit cold."

He nodded, "I'm used to the cold, I guess." smiling slightly,Boots glanced around.

"As am I, but it makes me uncomfortable as I have thin fur." She yawned.

He shrugged, "Ah." as he surveyed the den, he was able to see more now that there was some daylight.

"It's not much to look at." She remarked, watching him.

He looked back towards her, "Oh, well... I haven't been in an actual den for what it seems like ages." Boots admitted, his voice hinted with embarrassment.

"Oh. Well, that's alright. Now you can say you have!" She nodded.

He laughed quietly, "Yes, I guess I can, now." standing up, Boots walked around slightly bored. "So... do you have any plans for today?" he already knew his own answer - of course he didn't.

She tilted her head. "No. I was just going to walk around a little, maybe hunt a bit."

He nodded, "Alright." that was what he usually did on a daily basis: what else was there to do but hunt, explore, sleep, and eat?

"The family of cats that live nearby usually talks with me, but they had to go.somewhere for.some reason I forget." She flicks her tail.

He blinked, "Ah." Boots looked towards the way out of the den. "So, um. Would you like to go for a walk around the area? A quick breath of fresh air sounds good." asking this, he flicked an ear.

"Hmm?" She blinked at him. "Sure! I'd love to!"

He smiled slightly, nodding. "Alright, let's go." Boots began to pad towards the entrance/exit of her den.

She nodded and padded after him, flicking her tail and flattening her ears.

(Should we just RP here, so we don't have to make another topic? I guess we could go to one of the topics where any rouge/kittypet can go to freely, like the "Hunting Grounds" or "Path from or to Twoleg Place.")

Glancing over his shoulder quickly, he gave her a quick smile before turning his head forwards again. Boots shivered, his paws numb as they walked through the freezing snow.
