Aspa sat, warm and cozy, right outside her den, licking her maw after a good meal of plump rabbit. That would satisfy her hunger for a while. The less hunting the better. She didn't enjoy hunting when it was colder out. And though it was pretty warm today, she doubted it was going to be this nice tomorrow. It couldn't stay warm forever, with leaf-fall just around the corner. She knew this would negatively affect hunting, but she also just didn't like the cold in general. She didn't have the right amount of fur or fat to get through the cold seasons without almost freezing to death.
Sometimes she wondered if it would be easier, better... to have at least one other cat to help her through it. Just life in general. But at the same time, she didn't exactly feel comfortable with the idea. She felt like she would never be able to make friends with any cat. She hadn't yet, anyway. But she had also avoided all other cats, so... she made it nearly impossible for herself to make friends.
But she couldn't help it. She was an awkward cat, shy and weird and... yeah. That's just how it was.
