OOC:
Rofl, I didn't realize I had written that much in the Notes app on my iPod.
Hollykit's intro I guess, heh. xD
IC:
Hollykit was resting outside the nursery, enjoying the greenleaf sun's warmth while it lasted. She knew that the warmth wouldn't last forever, only because the elders told stories and queens fussed over their kits and how they were going to survive through the harsh cold. When leaf-fall would come, it was going to become colder, and then when greenleaf comes, even colder. All Hollykit ever knew was warmth. Well, recently. There were those times- before she was taken into LightningClan- where she would be out at night, and she would be cold and shivering, and also starving. But that was early newleaf, when leaf-bare's remnants hadn't completely disappeared yet.
The kitten changed the topic going on in her head, and started to think about whether or not she would stay in LightningClan. Although it was nice to have support from other cats so that it was less likely she would starve to death or get killed by foxes or badgers or dogs, she also wondered how well she'd fit in. Already she was seeing signs of cats not accepting her as a cat who they'd want to live with. Especially her adopted brother and sister. They hated her. And her adopted mother didn't seem to really care that much about her. Neither did her real parents, if they just left her right outside LightningClan's territory to die off.
Oh, well. She had time to think about it. Until "apprentice" age. Six moons. At the moment she was four moons old...
Eh, she had enough time.
She closed her eyes and curled up, burying her face into her ginger-furred tail. She took a peek to look out at the camp clearing. There were several Clan cats out right now, the deputy organizing patrols, mentors instructing apprentices, and warriors making general plans with other warriors.
It'd be fun to be an apprentice probably, and then later a warrior. Maybe even a mentor. Nothing more than that though; she felt it would be too much responsibility, and she thought she didn't do well with too much of it.
If she could just get one friend in this Clan, then she would probably have more of a chance of gaining respect from the others here. But that was the difficult part. She really wasn't good at making friends at all. She never had a friend, not a real friend. Acquaintances maybe (who hated her), but nothing more. But then again, she was only four moons old. You can't expect to get a good friend that early, can you? Right?
She let out a small sigh, frowning slightly but thoughtfully, before sinking her face into her pelt and falling into a light sleep.
