The time of ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and even the Tribe of the Rushing Water have long passed. The old heroes are just legends now, and the Ancient Clans, tales of LionClan, TigerClan and LeopardClan are scarcely remembered. Tales of Clans and Tribes spread from forest to forest, Twolegplace to Twolegplace, and although the rumors quickly spread, the warrior code, the purpose of Tribes and Clans remained the same. Thus, the first leaders came together: Magpiestar, Sunstar, Hollowstar and Mothstar. Although their beliefs and loyalties were divided, they each were strong and proud and knew their destinies: to rule the forest together, to respect one another, and to sacrifice everything for their friends. Now, those leaders, too, have passed, and it's your time to step up an aid in the rebirth of the forest.

In one part of LightningClan's territory, the grass gets longer and is much greener.(Which makes it softer.) This area is where mentors train their apprentices how to properly fight. Occasionally, they will be taught how to hunt here, but it's more likely for mentors to train their apprentices how to hunt in their usual hunting grounds.

ThunderClaw walked into the Training Area, ready to teach his apprentice. He sat down, and waited for the excited SplatteredPaw to bound in after him. I'm glad she's always excited, he thought to himself. She has potential.

Splatteredpaw skipped in after Thunderclaw, a wide smile spread evenly across her muzzle. "I'm here!" she announced, sitting in front of her mentor. The delighted apprentice kneaded her paws on the soft grass, eager to start training. She glanced up at her mentor, her amber eyes shining.

ThunderClaw calmly smiled. "Good. Now, where to start, where to start... How about fighting techniques? But boy, what move to teach first..?" he thought to himself for a moment then stood up quickly as he thought of one. "How about a fairly simple one - the front paw blow. You ready..?" ThunderClaw looked at the excited SplatteredPaw, waiting for an answer.

She quickly nodded, blinking excitedly. "Yup, I'm ready!" Splatteredpaw grinned widely, her whiskers quivering eagerly. I'm finally going to learn how to fight, like a real warrior! She thought happily, looking towards her mentor.

ThunderClaw chuckled lightly. "Okay then, let's start. This is a frontal attack, so you're going to be facing your opponent. You raise your front paw, then bring it down hard on your opponent's head, claws sheathed. Let's try, yes?" he smiled and looked down at his excited apprentice.

She nodded, "Okay, I'm ready!" Splatteredpaw raised a paw up, her claws sheathed. Having to reach up to get to the point where Thunderclaw's head was, the apprentice brought her paw down onto his head. "Like that?" she asked him hopefully, bringing her paw back and setting it down into the soft grass.

ThunderClaw closed his eyes as SplatteredPaw practiced the move on him. "Yes, like that. Now, when dealing with actual enemies, you're going to bring your paw down very hard. But when you're practicing with me, just practice lightly." he chuckled and thought about other moves to teach SplatteredPaw. "Oh-I got one perfect for you. The leap-and-hold. It will come in handy for smaller cats like you. If you're dealing with a larger opponent, this is a good move to know. For this move, you spring onto your opponent's back, and grip with unsheathed claws. In this position, you're beyond the range of your enemy's paws and able to inflict severe wounds to their back. Try it on me, but with claws sheathed, so I don't get too badly hurt." ThunderClaw laughed lightly and smiled at his apprentice.

Splatteredpaw nodded slowly, taking in the large piece of information. "Okay, I'll try." she padded around to the other side of him, looking for a suitable place to jump up. She leapt up, bringing one paw down onto his back several times, holding on tightly with the other paw.
